• They know what is best for the forest
• As they have a spiritual and emotional attachment with the forest , they will conserve it
• Industrialists cut forests on large scale to make profits for themselves
• This will lead to deforestation and not an equitable distribution of natural resources
=> Hence Tribal people must be allowed to use forests with the assistance of environmentalists
