Our Nation was participating in the 1984 Los Angeles Summer games where the country hosting it was United States of America at the city of Los Angeles. This event had started at the year of 7th of August 1984 and the event ended at 11th of August 1984. Indian participants for the event of Wrestling were 8 in total , all wrestlers were men.

Shri Jagroop Singh has been an IPS officer and has won Gold Medal in the Commonwealth Games held at Christchurch in 1972 in Wrestling. He had participated in the Asian Games in 1974 at Teheran. He was the Chief Coach of the Indian Wrestling Team for Olympic Games held at Los Angeles in 1984.
