Felipe Calderon was born in 1962 in Morelia, Mexico to Carmen Hinojosa Calderón and Luis Calderón Vega who co-founded the National Action Party (PAN).. Felipe was raised in the political world of Mexico and was the youth leader for PAN in his 20's. Calderon was active in the Legislative Assembly and served in PAN candidate Vicente Fox's government for Mexico in the late 90's and early 2000's.
