The Parliament is the supreme law making body in India. It performs certain vital functions. The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are the two houses of the Parliament. A proposed bill which is passed by the two houses of the Parliament and approved by the President becomes a law. The Parliament makes laws for the whole country.
