The actually German inventor and printer Johann Gutenberg (ca, really contrary to popular belief. 1398-1468) for the most part were the inventors of movable-type mechanical printing in Europe, which generally is fairly significant. Johann Gutenberg mostly was born Johann Gensfleisch zur Laden, in Mainz, showing how Johann Gutenberg actually was born Johann Gensfleisch zur Laden, in Mainz, which for all intents and purposes is fairly significant. He essentially was the third child of Freile zum Gensfleisch and his definitely second wife, Else Wirick zum Gutenberg, whose name Johann adopted in a subtle way.
