Surendernath Banerjee was known as the "Surrender Not" Banerjee.

Surendernath Banerjee was one of the great freedom fighters. He was the man of his own ideas and two time president of Indian National congress during the British rule. He was respected by the English as well who referred him "Surrender Not Banerjee" during his late years.
