Luv8700: antoine loviesier....branded a trater during the reign of terror by revolutionists. french chemist antoine lovisier who was also a tax collected with the ferme Générale, was tried, convicted and guillotined all on may 8, 1794..lovisier is considered the father of modern chemistry in 1777 he was the first to establish that sulphur was on element, not a compound. in 1778, he named oxygen and in 1783 he named hydrogen he also predicted silicon in 1787..... i hope it's helpful to you...
