mahatma gandhi was born on 2 October 1869 in porbandar in gujrat. his full name was mahan das karamchand gandhi. his father name name was karamchand gandhi and his mother name was putlibayi. he had one elder sister named raliyat and two elder brothers ( lakshmi das and krishandas) .gandhi ji was younger in his familiy. he had four sons.
in 1876 he went to rajkot with his family and angaged with kasturibayi. and in 1883 he had married with her. at the time of marriage, his age was 13 years. when his age was 15 years, his father was died. he plays many satyagrah for the justice of people. he is knows as father of nation.with the help of gandhi ji india was independent on 15 august 1947. at last on 31 January 1948 nathuram godse shoot ganhi ji.
