MRS AL SMITH WAS AN AMERICAN WOMAN WHO WAS TRYNG TO GET INTO THE MOVIES WORLD AND THEREFORE SHE WANTED TO HAVE A PIECE OF LAND TO BUILD A BUNGALOW NEAR TO JOINVILLE STUDIO WHERE THE SHOOTING WAS GOING TO TAKE PLACE.
Mrs. Al Smith wanted to buy the villa because of its location. She wanted to be near the shooting location. She also  found the place to be picturesque .
