Ranga was the son of village accountant.In the beginning of the story, Ranga thought that he should marry a girl who would be mature enough to understand him. He was searching for the right girl and didn't want to marry a girl who was too young or one whom he didn't admire. He decided to remain a bachelor if couldn't find the right girl.
