In India, Parliament has the authority to make and amend the laws at the central level. At the state level, this power is with the state legislatures.

A bill is first presented in 'Lok Sabha' or 'Place of People' as its individuals are specifically chosen by individuals. There are discourses amid that organize there could recommendations. On the off chance that administration acknowledges the proposals, revises the bill and reintroduces. On the off chance that all well, it goes for casting a ballot. When the bill is passed by Loks Sabha, at that point it goes to 'Rajya Sabha' or 'Gathering of States' as its individuals are chosen by state lawmaking body.

Bill again experiences same process in Rajya Sabha. On the off chance that it is cruised by 'Rajya Sabha' goes to President of India for definite endorsement. President may send it back to 'Lok Sabha' in the event that he/she feels any correction is required. It happens seldom. In the end President needs to sign the bill to make it a Law.
