• Presently he and his followers are staying in India as they are exiled to India. Dalai Lama, age 15, assumed Tibet's political power. That same year the  China had invaded. During the 1959 Tibetan uprising (a revolt erupted in Lhasa, Tibet's capital, which was under the control of the of China).
