Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya :-

Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya was an eminent engineer, scholar, statesman and played a key role in building of modern India. He was born on September 15th, 1860 in Muddenahalli village in Kolar district of the erstwhile princely state of Mysore (present day Karnataka). He was appointed as Dewan of Mysore state by the Maharaja of Mysore in 1912. He was the architect of the Krishnarajasagar Dam in Karnataka. He was the recipient of the Indian Republic's highest honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1955. He was knighted as a Knight Commander of the British Indian Empire bu King George V for his contribution to the public good. His birthday is celebrated as the Engineer's Day in India in his memory.

Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya is known as the Father of Indian Economic Planning.

M.Visvesvaraya  was born on 15th september 1861 in a Muddenahalli near Bangalore, India.
One of the most eminent engineers of india and He served as the chief engineer for the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara Lake and dam in 1924. An engineer is not only someone who has the knowledge of design and execution, but also stands by ethics, dedication & excellence and Sir MV is the epitome of these values. Visvesvaraya received India's highest honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1955
