Since 25 December 1991 to 15 June 1992 the liabilities of the Chairman were executed by then President of the Russian Federation Boris Yeltsin. On 15 June 1992 Yegor Gaidar was assigned Acting Chairman. Then on 14 December 1992 Viktor Chernomyrdin was assigned the Chairman of the Government of Russian Federation.
