Answer:

B V R Mohan Reddy is the head of the government committee that suggested AICTE to stop setting up new engineering colleges from 2020.

A government committee, headed by using IIT-Hyderabad chairman B V R Mohan Reddy, has suggested the All India Council for Technical schooling (AICTE) to prevent putting in new faculties from 2020 and assessment the advent of recent potential each years after that. The panel has also suggested that no additional seats should be approved in conventional engineering areas consisting of mechanical, electrical, civil and electronics and that institutes have to be advocated to convert contemporary capability in conventional disciplines to rising new technology. This advice has been justified on the floor that current ability utilization in conventional disciplines is simply 40% instead of 60% seat occupancy in branches which includes computer technological know-how and engineering, aerospace engineering and mechatronics. For the equal motive, the committee has advised the AICTE to introduce undergraduate engineering programmes exclusively for artificial intelligence, blockchain, robotics, quantum computing, data sciences, cyber protection and 3-D printing and layout.
