In most cases no one invented any mathematics - however, a number of different people DISCOVERED mathematics.Since there are several different branches of math, there are many people who have discovered mathematical concepts, but credit usually goes to the people who are first to publish their discoveries. What I mean is, no one "invented" adding. When you put things together, you are adding. It's a physical way of the universe, but someone discovered how adding "worked" , what its rules are, and how it behaves.
