8 years back whenever I used to come to India for my vacation I used to stare at the fireflies moving around the room.I was so fascinated and excited that every night I used to stay awake until I spotted all of them while my granny used to tell me bed time stories.

Sadly , today when I look around my room I cannot find any fireflies.All I can hear is the buzzing of mosquito.

I think they are the most beautiful living thing.Firefly or lightning bug make use of their bioluminescence to attract the mates or prey.

There is something about them that makes me feel so good and nostalgic.
