The president of India was Pranab Mukherjee.

But after the 17th July 2017 elections the new president which is selected is RAM NATH KOVIND.

Ram Nath KOVIND was born on 1st October 1945, His present age is 71 years. He was born in Derapur, Kanpur.

He is from Bharatiya Janata party.He is an Indian lawyer and politician of course.He was also a member of parliament of Raj sabha.

And he will assume his office tomorrow, ie-25th July 2017.
