But Ferdinand Magellan was the one who proved that earth is round or geode in shape by sailing for a long period of time till he reached his destination .. Before people thought that earth was box in shape so of the sail or cross to a long distance , then they would fall from the edge , for proving this ferdinand magellan sailed across the earth . But really Pythagorus was the founder of earth being round .
