the universe, before existence, was cery very small, smaller than an atom, millionth of millionth smaller than an atom, it exploded called Big Bang and the universe started expanding very fast. universe cooled, many gases and other materials combined together due to gravity and became planets.
how many years ago, I learned it happened 20 billion years ago, but there are many scientists claiming it happened 14 years ago.
We don't actually know what caused the explosion though.
