who started Building Qutub Minar and who completed this construction

Qutub Minar was constructed by qutubuddin Aibak but he could not completed because he died accidentally while playing polo in 1210 CE. it was later completed by his son in law Iltutmish who was also a slave.

The construction of Qutab Minar was started by Qutib-ud-Din Aibak. He builded the basement only. Then the three more stories were builded by his successor Iltutmish. And at last the two storeys were built by Firoz Shah Tuglak.
