The passive voice is used to show interest in the person or object that experiences an action rather than the person or object that performs the action.

In a passive sentence, the subject, math, becomes the object, and then a ‘by’ phrase can be added.

So the passive voice of ‘We teach maths ’ is ‘Maths is taught by us’.
