CHANDRAGUPTA WAS A GREAT KING.HE PUT THE FOUNDATION OF MAGDHA BUT TO PUT THE BASE HE STRUGGLED A LOT HE DEFEATED THE NANDA DYNASTY AND ALSO PUT DOWN SELUCUS NICATOR( THE ARMY GENERAL OF ALEXANDER). NOW ASHOKA IT CAN’T BE SIMPLY SAID THAT ASHOKA GOT RULE FROM HIS FATHER BINDUSARA , ASHOKA ALWAYS STRUGGLED BEFORE HE BECAME KING. PRINCE SUSHIMA ALWAYS DOMINATED HIM. ASHOKA SPENT A LOT TIME IN FIGHTING WITH HIS OWN FAMILY DEVILS. ASHOKA WAS ALSO RESTRICTED FROM MAGDHA. WHEN ASHOKA BECAME KING HE RULED WHOLE AND LARGER PART THAN INDIA AND CHANDRAGUPTA ALSO STARTED FROM ZERO AND CONSTRUCTED MAGDHA. SO IT IS NOT EASY TO SAY WHO WAS MORE POWERFUL ASHOKA OR CHANDRAGUPTA BUT BOTH WERE AT THERE PLACES AND TIME.BUT WE CAN SAID THAT ASHOKA IS THE BEST.BECAUSE HE DO MANY THINGS FOR INDIA.
