Ali Bux was the uncle of Bismillah Khan. Right from age three, Bismillah used to watch how his uncle played the Shehnai. He was fascinated and mesmerized and soon bean accompanying uncle to the Vishnu Temple at Benaras. Alli Bux worked in the temple and played the Shehnai.
