The first Mughal ruler of the sultanate dynasty is Babar. He defeated Ibrahim Lodi in the first battle of Panipat. He defeated Ibrahim Lodi and strted the Mughul dynasty. Once he defeated Ibrahim Lodi he captured Delhi and Agra. The next year he defeated Rana Sanga of Mewar at Khanua. Two years later he defeated the afghan nobles at Ghaghara. These three battles secured Babars position in northern India. He was an excellent general and an even better author. He has written his autobiography named Baburnama in which he has explained all the physical features, life of people, places he visited, his personal and public life etc.
