Karan was a better archère because once Karan and Arjan had a archery fight and that fight was on the side of Karan

Surely karna was greater than Arjuna in all fields including emotional and physical tests.

but the trutch of karan is that he gave his kavach in dan so he is mightier that arjun and Arjun has all god given powers
No arjun donot have kavach and kundal like karna but he can kill easily with the astra name pashupatastra and he is not born with any kavach and kundal so he is greater than karna and i think you also know that he has a gandhiv bow so he is Greater than karna
but all those is gifted ,but Karan has earned it
How karna has earned it his father God Sun have given him when he was born and the father of arjun have not given him because he think that arjun is most powerful warrior and he was more intelligent than karna and arjun have learned all the vedas and he was very intelligent and he has a very sharp mind and he come front in every field
