Birsa Munda was born in mid 1870.As an adolescent he had heard about the golden age when there were no diku oppressors around.
in 1895 birsa munda started a new faith .He urged people to give up drinking liquor and stop believing in witchcraft.His disciples grew in a large number.Munda revolt was lead by birsa munda in 1895-1900.in February 1900 he was arrested for the second time.he passed away in jail
