Bruno was a sloth bear.
Once , The author was passing through the sugarcane fields near Mysore with his companions. Some people were driving away wild pigs from the fields by shooting. Suddenly a black sloth beat came out panting. The author's companion shot at the bear. The bear fell down.
The author and his companions went near the bear. They saw a bear cub riding on his mother's back. This bear cub was named Bruno.
Hope it will help!!
