Insulin was discovered by Frederick Banting and Charles Best.
Insulin is a hormone in our body which is produced by the Beta cells of the Islets of Langerhans present in the Pancreas.
Insulin converts glucose into glycogen and stores it in liver, thus decreasing blood sugar level.
