=》 Introduction :- Johann Wolfgang Dobereiner was a German chemist. He was born in the year 1780.

=》 About Dobereiner:- Dobereiner studied as a pharmacist at Munchberg in Germany, and then studied chemistry at Strasbourg. Eventually he became a professor at the university of Jena.

=》 Contributions of Dobereiner:-

1. He made the first observation on platinum as a catalyst

2. He discovered similar triads of elements which led to the development of the periodic table.
