Dronacharya was the son of a nymph called Rishi Bhardwaj and Ghritarchi and disciple of Parshuram, accomplished in the hernithology. The five sons of Pandu in Kuru Pradesh and those master of the hundred sons of Dhritarashtra. At the time of the Mahabharata war he was the commander of the Kaurava side. Eklavya's name is notable among other disciples of Guru Dronacharya.
