Raja RajaChola I was the most famous chola ruler emperor who ruled over the ancient Chola Kingdom of Tamil Nadu.

Raja RajaChola I made the PeruvudaiyarKoyil in Thanjavur which is one of the biggest hindu temple.

He was also responsible for compilation of the poets of that time which was called Thirumurai.
