Madhav Mantri was an Indian Cricket player. He was a right-handed opening batsman and was a specialist in wicket keeping. He represented Mumbai and was the captain of Mumbai. While he was the captain he won three Ranji Trophy finals. He was the oldest Indian test player. He was the maternal uncle of Sunil Gavaskar. He was born on 1 September 1921 and died on 23 May 2014.
