Mahatma gandi,whose real name was Mohandas Karamchand Ghandi, was born on 2nd October,1869,at Porbandar in Gujarat.He adopted a novel method of mass agitation,which is called satyagraha. After arriving in India,in1915,mahatma Gandhi successfully organised satyagraha movements in various places.
