Ah...The swinging 60's!!
There were many great psychedelic bands from the 60s like the Beatles, Pink Floyd, 13th Floor Elevators, Jefferson Airplane, The Doors, The Jimi Hendrix experience, The Byrds, The Beach Boys, The Yardbirds, etc
But in my opinion, I think the Beatles were definitely more influential (even though they explored many other musical genres other than psychedelic rock)
You should definitely check out these bands
Like they say, you don't listen to psychedelic rock, you experience it :)
