Napoleon Bonaparte was a French general, the first consul and the one who became the emperor of France (between 1804–1814/15). The following are the two laws passed by him:

1. He established Equality before Law throughout France.

2. He declared property free from the occupation of feudal lords and owners who were enjoying exclusive rights on it.
