napoleon bonaparte: napoleon was born on 15th august ,1769 at ajaccio in corsica. his father's name was charles bonaparte and mother's name was laetizia ramolino. napoleon joined the french military schools at brienne and paris . after leaving the military school , he served as a second lieutenant of artillery . he witnessed some of the important events of the french revolution and his experiences helped him immensively in gaining power later .
the magnetic personality of napoleon and his amazing victories mesmerised the people of france and they gave him their full support . they started believing that only a soldier's sword could establish an era of orderly progress.
