2.he saw his role as modernizer of Europe. he introduces many laws such as protection of private property,uniform system of weight and measures provided by decimal system.

3. many saw him as a liberator who would bring freedom for the people but soon become as an invading force.

4. he started the slave trade between Europe,Africa and america. this was also called as triangular slave trade.

5. finally napoleon was defeated at Waterloo in 1815.
