Qutub ud-Din Aybak, was the founder of the Mamluk dynasty and the first sultan of the Delhi. He built The Qutub Minar.

Qutub ud din Aibak was the founder of slave dynasty.  He was succeeded by Shams ud din Iltutmish . He was the ruler of the Delhi Sulunate. He was the founder but not considered to be real founder.  At first he was also the slave of mahumud of Ghazni. After the death of Mahumud of Ghazni he became the ruler. And named his dynasty as Slave Dynasty in 1206.
