Robert Owen was a textile manufacturer from Welsh, and a social reformer. He founded the Utopian Socialism and the Cooperative movement. He is well known for his attempts to improve the working conditions of the employees of his factory.
Louis Jean Joseph Charles Blanc, was a French Historian and Politician. He favored reforms, he promoted the idea of the formulation of cooperatives in order to secure employment for common people.
