Surontiko Samin was the founder of an indonesian social movement.The Samin's challenged the Dutch and rejected their capitalist views, as they forced taxes upon the people of Indonesia. The Dutch took their free public forest lands and most importantly the land which contained precious "teak forests" whom the indonesian people were using for trade.
He challenged the Dutch that they can't own the forest as they have not created wind, water, wood and earth.

Samin belonged to a tik forest village in java.
(1) Samin began questioning state ownership of the forest.
(2) He said that the state had not created the wind,water,earth and wood.So, why the state will get control over it.
