Swargadeo Pratap Singha. Borphukan was the Governor General in Ahom Kingdom. Ahom Kingdom west of Koliabor river was under the control of a Borphukan. The position of Borphukan was first created by Ahom King Pratap Singha or Susengphaa. Lachit Barphukan is the most famous or all Ahom Borphukans. He defeated Mughals in Battle of Saraighat.
