In Tamil Nadu, the first state human rights commission chairperson was Meena Kumari.
She was also the first Chief Justice at the High Court of Meghalaya.
She took over her duties in 2014 November.
She has even practised as the criminal, civil, taxation, constitutional lawyer in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh
