Hi,

Your answer :
The Indian Independence Act of 1947 (the Indian Independence Act 1947) was the law passed and promulgated by the British Parliament to officially declare India's independence, as well as the creation of two "dominions": the Indian Union (Hindu) and Pakistan (Muslim) itself divided into two territories: Pakistan proper (Western) and East Pakistan (now Babglasesh). The term "dominion" was used to refer to an "autonomous state within the British Empire", such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa (then the South African Union), the colony of Newfoundland, etc.

The Indian Independence Act was developed by Prime Minister Clement Attlee (July 26, 1945 - October 26, 1951), according to agreements reached with Indian political parties on the transfer of power from the British government to the future Indian government. This law on Indian independence received royal assent on July 18, 1947. The two newly formed countries, India and Pakistan, were to begin legal existence on August 15, 1947 at midnight.

Good bye :)
