The credit of establishing Advaita Vedanta on a firm pedestal goes to Adi Shankara. He wrote commentaries (Bhasya) on Principle Upanishads, Braham Sutras and Bhagavad Gita. There are apparent inconsistencies regarding nature of Brahman, Atman etc. in Prasthanatrayi.
