1stly it is nt the jahangir it is Emperor Jahangir . He was the son of Emperor Akbar n the 4th emperor of the Mughal dynasty .
According to some records after parting from Anarkali Prince Salim changed his name to Jahangir n got married to some 3-4 ladies

Akbar was succeeded by his eldest son Jahangir who he loved the most. He was well read person. During the life time of Akbar l, Jahangir was appointed the governor of Avadh and Bengal. He gained valuable experience there. He followed Akbar's liberal and secular policies.
