Who were Gomathas and write down their functions?

Hey....

GOMATHAS :- they were the paid servants of east india company who used supervise Weaver's,collect supplies examine the quality of cloths....

Their two functions are:-

* Their main duty was to supervise the activity of Weaver's completly..

*And they collect good Quality of goods.....

⏩They acted arrogantly, marched into villages with sepoys and peons, and punished weavers for delays in supply, often beating and flogging them.
