Socialist are those who advocates that all means of production and distribution must be owned by society or community. Basically, they want a stateless society. Behind socialism the aim is that no one would be rich or poor.
Nationalists are those who fought for country's political Independence. Like In India, Mahatma Gandhi and Pt. Nehru etc.
