Larry Vigil and Herb Siegler were two crewmen of American and Swedish nationality respectively.
They were crewmen aboard the ship wavewalker. They were extremely talented and helped the narrator to tackle the rough seas of the southern Indian Ocean.
When the ship started to fill up with water during the storm, they remained focused and kept pumping out the excess water to keep the ship stable.
