moderators work in the figure of British they followed 3Ps- prayer petitions and patience they were in the favour of British they adopted to pursue their goals there demands where
- to have representative institutions in the whole country for Welfare of people
- to create provincial legislative councils in all provinces
- to hold civil services examination in India
- to ensure the growth of Indian Industries and handicrafts

Demands of moderates
1. The moderates demanded a larger share in the Government of their country.
2. The moderates also demanded a reduction in land revenue and protection      of peasants against the unjust demands of zamindars.
3. They demanded for the complete separation of the Executive and the
    Judiciary.
4. They demanded industrial growth through trade protection.
5. The moderates demanded for the Indianisation of services through                  simultaneous Indian Civil service Examinations in India and England.
